Did you steal your Children's Candy After Trick or Treating? |
|
(My first copycat).
Nope. I'm getting too old and overweight to do something like that.
I didn't touch a single piece. Really. I even resisted the REAL salt water taffy (an old fave) that Cailee did not want. Deb didn't though, and I gave her some shit for it!
On the road today 120 miles from home, and resisted the "breakfast biscuits" at the local Hardee's (another personal fave) even though they would be on the company.
Rather PROUD of m'self.

3. Yes! Yes! Almond Joys! |
|
My daughter knows I love 'em so whenever someone put them in her pumpkin bucket she'd scream: "Mama! Almond Joys!" She likes them, too, but has shared with me. :9

4. My middle son caught on to me. |

Whenever he went up to a house, after he said "Trick or Treat" the next thing out of his mouth was "Got any Peanut Butter Cups?" He knows those are safe from me.

5. I never stole candy from my kids... |
|
...I always asked first. Ask = no steal. Now all the candy that 'disappeared' AFTER they went to bed, I had nothing to do with. Nothing, I tell you!

I took out what they can't eat, and I let them trade those pieces for something from our bowl of leftover candy.
I had one Kraft caramel and a mini Reese's cup. That's all of the Halloween candy I ate.

peanut butter cups. He was also quite generous with his sister, always gives her a piece when he gets one. :hi:
