3. The "old apples" scene
There's a scene between Tony Danza and the whitebread guy, where Tony is complaining the apples in the vending machine are always old, so the whitebread guy explains that when they fill the machine, they put the fresh apples in the back, but since nobody likes the old apples, by the time the fresh ones get to the front, they're old. Tony theorizes that if they just eat all the old apples, they can get to the fresh apples, but the whitebread guy says that if they do that, they'll think they LIKE old apples and fill the machine with old apples... along those lines, remembering it funnier than I'm telling it (and possibly funnier than it actually was).

Of course, the yellow light scene is genius.

4. Yeah that was right up there with
WKRP's turkey massacre. I wonder how many takes they had to do before cast and crew got it together.

13. Anybody catch the "Taxi" joke on "Numb3rs" last night?
At the end of the show, Judd Hirsch and his two sons sat down to watch some TV. Judd Hirsch turned on the TV, and the theme from "Taxi" was heard in the background. I'm assuming that was added in post-production, but I'm wondering if Judd knew they were going to do that before it aired last night.

17. when a concerned Alex urges Elaine to talk to a therapist
Elaine just wants the therapist to sign a note saying she is OK but he urges her to talk a bit. She starts talking, getting more and more upset as she recounts what sounds like an out of control busy life, then recalls things from her childhood and completely breaks down. She asks the therapist if he thinks she is crazy and he says, noooooo, so Elaine responds THEN SIGN THE NOTE !!! :)
