Chicken Pot Pie for Breakfast!
Edited on Sat Nov-04-06 11:20 AM by Whoa_Nelly
MMMMMMMMMM :9

Chilly day looking like rain here.

Nothing says comfort like a chicken pot pie.

This one is by Stouffer's...MUCH better than any Marie Callendar ones have microwaved in the past. Has a super flaky crust and is chockful of the yummies! :bounce:

3. CP!
Am bruised, swelling is down...following RICE (Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevate) for 24 hours really made a huge difference.

Just won't be going down on my knees for a while...

As in GARDENING! (for those of you with gutter minds...like mine)

Flaky crust and delicious sauce.

14. Agreed
Marie Callender's anything is just bland.

Even in their restaurants, the food looks and smells SO GOOD, but tastes like styrofoam.

15. After a terrible encounter with food at a MC Restaurant
Not to mention the HORRID interior decorating fabric and wallpaper mish-mash at the last one gone to, (my Interior Designer eyes were burning!!! I kid you not!!)
I refuse to go into that chain anywhere ever again!

16. I'm looking for a good pot pie
The local grocery chain used to have a house brand made in Canada. The same pie in Safeway, Publix and Giant. Then they stopped, except for sheppard pie. Everthing else I've tried has been practically soup with crust. Merde, that was a good pot pie. Almost as good as my grandmother use to make from scratch.

in this cooking class i took last year, we made some pot pie where we just pulled some roast chicken off the bone as the chicken part of the pot pie and i liked that. i guess i just have to see food like chicken pot pie prepared in front of me to eat it...haha im wierd

23. Sounds wonderful on a cold morning.
I used to give my kids chicken-noodle soup on cold mornings, but the pie is much better & heartier. And no stranger than chipped beef on toast for breakfast! And much better for you than biscuits and gravy and more protein than oatmeal! Good for you!
