this is the most beautiful song about infidelity I've ever heard
Hinder -- Lips of An Angel

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TCYlf0qc6YQ

(It's been out for a while but lately they are playing it non-stop on the alt. radio station I listen to...it's weird because it almost sounds like a contemporary country song even though it's rock)

Honey why you calling me so late
It's kinda hard to talk right now
Honey why you crying is everything okay
I gotta whisper cause I can't be too loud
Well, my girl's in the next room
Sometimes I wish she was you
I guess we never really moved on
It's really good to hear your voice saying my name
It sounds so sweet
Coming from the lips of an angel
Hearing those words it makes me weak
And I,
never wanna say goodbye
But girl you make it hard to be faithful
With the lips of an angel

It's funny that you're calling me tonight
And yes I dreamt of you too
And does he know you're talking to me will it start a fight
No, I don't think she has a clue
Well my girl's in the next room
Sometimes I wish she was you
I guess we never really moved on
It's really good to hear your voice saying my name
It sounds so sweet
Coming from the lips of an angel
Hearing those words it makes me weak
And I,
never wanna say goodbye
But girl you make it hard to be faithful
With the lips of an angel

It's really good to hear your voice saying my name
It sounds so sweet
Coming from the lips of an angel
Hearing those words it makes me weak
And I,
never wanna say goodbye
But girl you make it hard to be faithful
With the lips of an angel
(let it die,I never wanna say goodbye)
But girl you make it hard to be faithful
With the lips of an angel

Honey why you calling me so late

1. I despise that song.
Urrrrrgh......It's the only song they play, practically, on all the "Top 40" radio stations around here.

:banghead:

:D

2. LOL
I can see why. They are playing it non-stop. However, I think if you are going to sing about this topic at least do it well, and these guys did. Though I can't fathom cheating on what is standing in the room behind him, that's for sure.

3. His woman in the other room is very lucky, isn't she?
We must hang on at all costs, lest we be judged. :sarcasm:

Being human sucks.

6. yeah
each time I hear it I'm kind of like, why is this on this (alt. rock) radio station. But if you watch the video the guys are like kind of gothy/metal looking.

But I can see some guy in a black sleeveless shirt with a cowboy hat and cowboy boots singing this.

8. Hinder is what the love child of Creed and Nickelback would sound like.
The "rock/alt" station here plays that every 10 minutes. Therefore I've grown...nay...I've learned to hate it with every fiber of my body.

Warrant probably could've done it better in 1993.

The rest of Hinders music could be great, as I'm generalizing. However, this one song has me prejudiced towards it all being filtered suckage.

9. Wrong. Best infidelity song is Depeche Mode's "Halo"
Runner up:

Junior Brown's "My Wife Thinks You're Dead"
