What else are you planning to do tomorrow besides vote?
Nobody has asked us to do some day-of campaigning. So we are going to vote between 9 and 10 a.m., then since it's predicted to be in the high 80s, I might drive my Mom over to La Jolla and walk her around in her wheelchair to look at the waves and see La Jolla Cove, where she learned to swim 80 years ago. Then we may visit one of her friends so I can see one of my favorite cats. And maybe a light supper out somewhere, then home to watch the Democratic victory on TV. What are your plans besides voting?

2. Homework and music theory lesson and then jazz band.

No school, though, tomorrow, so that's a plus.

3. Wait for my dining room furniture to be delivered.
Start arranging with car dealership to have car that won't start towed from work parking lot to dealership on Wednesday when I am once again up that way. Carefully drive rental car. Be annoyed because I now face car repairs and replacement rental costs for a couple days.

9. The usual...whiskey for breakfast, rassle a few alligators, tame a lion or two, raw
iguana meat for lunch, lead the cops on a 150-MPH pursuit on the highway and get away from them, pick my kid up from school with my helicopter, fly to Vegas for dinner with Angelina Jolie...

Same old boring shit. God, I'm in such a rut.

15. Does she still chew with her mouth open? With that, and the whole
eating cookies in bed thing, I finally had to stop seeing her... (And don't be so modest; what do you mean with just "a few" 'gators?)

12. School. We don't get tomorrow off.
We're going to be there as there are people walking through the building to vote. It's fun to watch. All we've been talking about in journalism class for the past 2 weeks have been the elections. And cows. We had an interesting conversation about cows a few days ago. Fun class.

Also, I'll probably keep working on a story I've been writing that takes place in a world based on ours, but with slightly different geography, and new names for all the countries. It takes place during the time of WW1, and the main reason I changed the names was so that I didn't have to be historically accurate.

26. The sunset should be spectacular!
The Santa Ana winds are blowing, as you know, and that pushes the smog out over the ocean, contributing to wonderful skies!

How long are you in town?

I'm in Manhattan Beach!

:hi:

Then I take my kid to his piano lesson, go over his school lessons, practice, and have a string quartet rehearsal.
