Polls usually close at 8 PM, right? |
|
So returns for the east coast start coming in at what, 8:30 EST? Sooner than that? Later?
I can't even remember from '04.
:D
I'm just asking because I'm not gonna get home until at least 8:45, maybe even later than that. So I'll be missing the early returns.

Polls here in Maine close at 8 PM EST, pretty much universally, I think.

4. Hey md- do you know which radio stations will be broadcasting results? |
|
I'll be stuck in class from 6-9:40, so I want to check the radio on my mp3, on my breaks.

6. All three local networks will be |
|
3,6, and 10, but I can't stand most of the people with the exception of Dennis Anderson, and Pat Kelly. They will be having some at the beginning of each hour starting at 7 with going full time at 9.

There's gonna be enough cluster-fucking with Diebold, Sequoia et al that I think the closer races won't be called for days. :eyes:

13. Hell, they said a few days ago |
|
that if the difference in Pueblo County (democratic county but already having issues with absentee ballots not getting where they're supposed to be, "We sent them. Beyond that, it's not our responsibility where, when or if they get delivered." Yes, the Pueblo County Clerk actually Said that) is 6,000 votes or less, they're going to contest the results.

11. Polls close at different times in different states. |

Here's a handy guide: http://www.nass.org/Surveys/Polling%20Place%20Hours%2006.pdfPoll returns show up rather quickly in places with fully automated systems too. Enjoy watching the returns when you do get home WIMR, and remember it's only a few short years before you can vote too! :-)
