Here's some Qs for ya'.

1. Did you vote all Dem, or did you vote for some dem candidates under another party's endorsement (like working families) or did you vote for some straight-up third party candidates? (I know no one voted for any republicans.)

2. If you're a parent, did you take your child or children with you to vote?

3. What's for dinner tonight?

4. Did you have the day off work?

5. Anything weird to report from your polling place?

6. Do you plan events based on the phase of the moon?

7. Is soup just a vehicle for pepper?

8. What election coverage are you/will you listen to or watch?

9. How do you feel?

10. Would you pass a drug test?

4. Did you have the day off work?

Nope.

5. Anything weird to report from your polling place?

Nope. Pretty empty, but it was 8:30AM on a college campus.

6. Do you plan events based on the phase of the moon?

Nope.

7. Is soup just a vehicle for pepper?

Nah. :)

8. What election coverage are you/will you listen to or watch?

7. 1. Straight party ticket, plus dems for the nonpartisan votes for
judges and such. I wrote my name and my stepfather's name in for Soil & Water Conservation Manager. :)
2. Not a parent although I wish my cats could vote.
3. Warmed up leftover homemade vegetable beef soup.
4. In college, and yes, I had to go this morning, but I TOOK the rest of the day off.
5. I was the 66th person to slide my ballot into the slot. Some strange guy was hanging around, but other than that, nothing unusual.
6. When I garden I definitely do. Planting potatoes by the light of a full or growing (can't remember if that's waxing or waning) moon gives you all vines and no taters or so they say.
7. My homemade vegetable beef soup is just a vehincle for ketchup, my not so secret ingredient. Yummy.
8. All internet. I'll probably get it here on DU, but may check out CNN tonight as well.
9. It's raining like crazy and I got soaking wet on the way into and out of buildings at the college. I'm sneezing some too. I ate, but I'm still hungry. I'm one Dem would doesn't stay home from voting when it rains. Many in this area usually stay home if it's raining. That's not good. It's like a monsoon out there. I'm feeling achy too. Otherwise, I feel great.
10. I'd pass a drug test assuming acetominophen and diphenhydramine aren't on the list of drugs. I had to take some Tylenol (I get store brand though) PM for the aches, pains, and headache. Did I mention I have a hideous headache today?

8. Okey dokey
1. Did you vote all Dem...?

ALL Dem. The only "R" that I got close to was the one on the end of Eliot Spitzer's name. (Oh--I did vote for him on the Working Families line, because there's been an advertising push on Air America for us to do so--I was happy to oblige.)

2. If you're a parent, did you take your child or children with you to vote?

I did--took MorningGlow Jr., all of 3 years old, and explained what I was doing. He seemed pretty interested and was happy to get a sticker. By the time I dropped him off with grandma, he was shouting "DEMOCRAT! DEMOCRAT! DEMOCRAT!" :woohoo:

3. What's for dinner tonight?

Haven't a fucking clue. Should I serve my Repub husband humble pie?

4. Did you have the day off work?

Ugh. No. But I am blowing it off a bit to troll DU. Like now.

5. Anything weird to report from your polling place?

No, except I was voter #33, and that's my lucky number. I took it as a good sign.

6. Do you plan events based on the phase of the moon?

Absolutely. And I duck during Mercury retrograde, which is occurring right now. It's supposed to screw up electrical things--here's hoping it wreaks havoc with the sinister plans for the Diebold machines--a double negative should make a positive, no?

7. Is soup just a vehicle for pepper?

No. It's a vehicle for mmmmm...cream....gaaaahhhh (insert Homer drool here).

8. What election coverage are you/will you listen to or watch?

DU and ONLY DU.

9. How do you feel?

Overall, pretty optimistic.

10. Would you pass a drug test?

Alas, yes.

15. Some random answers: Yes, no, maybe, kind of a burnt sienna, spring rolls, 43, Buster Poindexter,...
As to the actual questions you asked, the only one I have a reasonably intelligent reply for is #5: not that there was anything weird, just that turnout was very light. It being a pretty damn Republican precinct, I'm sure nobody has a problem with this. (Oh, and I voted all Democrats, iVotronics willing.)
