Why are my fonts on firefox all screwn? I can't get them normal! HELP!! |
|
My Firefox, for no reason I can understand, has now decided to show everything in large fonts.
It's also now giving me a serif font in the text box as I am typing this, which font it never had before; though the subject line is still Arial.
And as I type this, all the webpage text on this writing page is gigantic, but the size of my text that I am writing is smaller than it used to be, and the text on the buttons is smaller.
I went into tools --> options --> and adjusted the font size there, and have done so a few times to different sizes, and then shut down Firefox and restarted it, and it always has come back as the same giant size.
And even if I CRTRL-+ or CTRL--, I can change the size, but can't get it to what it was before; it's either slightly smaller or slightly larger.
Firefox did this to me once on my desktop, too, and I can't remember how I finally got it back to normal.
Can you offer any guidance, help, perfect solutions?! If so, please do!!
Tahnks in advance!

1. You didn't click the font size link on DU did you? |
|
Because if you do that and then shrink your fonts down with ctl-- (or ctrl mouse wheel) the view text is normal but the edit box text is tiny!

4. Yeah, ends up that was it. |

I thought this thread had sunk to death, so I didn't bothering posting that I found the problem.
I realized it once I went to another website, and the fonts were all very small.
Then I remembered, "Oh, yeah, there's a link on DU to make things huge - that's what fucked me up last time, too!"

3. It seems to work fine here... |
|
The default is Times New Roman/16... BTW.
Have you tried clearing your cache and then resetting the font?
Maybe it's something to do with your Operating System settings?
