Shared grief with teacher of my class last night.
I missed class last week. I told the yoga instructor that Grandma had died (because 2 weeks ago, the night before Grandma died, I'd fallen apart in her arms after she asked me if I was okay). Then the yoga instructor stopped last night's teacher, Joyce, as she was walking by, telling me "Joyce just lost her father."

So Joyce and I talked about her dad and my Grandma for a bit. They were only a year apart in age, she 89, he 88. Joyce said she and her mom were going to her dad's grave on Saturday, because it was his birthday. Wow! I said, "He was born on Armistice Day!"* :patriot:

Joyce said her dad was a flirt and loved to dance, and I said Grandma was a tart, so I knew there was boogie-in' going on in heaven.

I think talking about my grief w/ someone who is in the same place helped.

Thanks for reading.

* Joyce kept referring to it as "D-Day," but of course I didn't correct her. No big.
