A plea for Lounge Mojo. Another house showing tomorrow.
Edited on Fri Nov-10-06 05:37 PM by crim son
I really need the good vibes because I've been cleaning all day and now I QUIT. I'm going out tonight and this is as tidy as it's gonna get. No floors washed but three tubs shiny and pretty and so much dust and sludge from the floors/carpets that it is embarrassing. Anyhow, no responses required because I'm going to make dinner and then get ready to meet some friends. Have an excellent Friday evening, and please give my house sale two seconds of thought. As I've often said, I need to get the hell out of this house! THANKS!!!:hi: -Lisa

On edit: I see 76 views so far. If even half of the viewers sent good vibes, I'm in great shape. You guys are the best.

14. Have you tried showing up bearing gifts?
I had to do that last week when I inadvertently did something that she found very upsetting. A card and a bottle, even though I really wasn't at fault; we are now pals again and I feel virtuous.

I'm sorry that you feel that way, though. It's very disheartening.  Hugs for you.

17. It always comes back to "Are you me?"
My parents are very annoyed with me, and they're in Oregon while I'm in Maine. Just about 3000 miles! Well, give it time. People forget their anger over time, usually. I've had only one mortal enemy in my life until recently when I acquired #2. But a person's got to pretty much wear themselves out trying to fuck me over before I'll even get slightly irritated. More hugs:

19. Thank you CottonBear!!
This house has been on the market for about seven months, so it's basically in good shape. It's my three kids, and the fact that it's huge that makes it hard to get ready for a showing. Good luck on your house-organizing. You'll probably find things you thought were lost forever!

I'm going through a divorce and the soon-to-be ex left taking his antique dining room furniture and his daughters bedroom furniture and throwing out everything that was in the large antique furniture on the floors (clothes, paper work, glassware, dishes, collectibles...) My kitchen counters, stove top and fridge top are covered in antique glassware and the good china. Oh yeah, he left his stuff there for me to pack up. :grr: I live in a tiny house so it is less crowded furniture wise but more crowded available surface wise. I have no dining room table or chairs left. I've got some stored at my mom's but she's 3 1/2 hours away.

Oh well, I'll get through it. I've got gobs of paperwork to get together for the lawyers and most of it is no longer in the cabinets or shelves that it was in since those things are gone. :( The paper work duties come before the house cleaning and organizing duties. *sigh*

Have a great evening and hopefully, tomorrow will be a better (and cleaner house) day for you! You can vacuum in the morning.
:hi:
