My old dog is blind and deaf. However, his mind is fine, as is his olfactory organism. He bumps into things, and his son beats the crap out of him, after which he acts like he won. Luckily, I don't like traveling, just staying home, so it's a long term commitment.

DO NOT LET HIM GET FAT... Feed him lo cal or make sure he gets lots of exercise..

long lowdown dogs have to be put down more often in later years because they get horrific back problems if they are overweight..
