I might be a naughty girl now... I just did something I have never done before!!!!!!!!! |
|
So I was walking down the street looking for suitable accoutrements for my apartment, and I passed a movie theater. Out of curiosity, I asked the person at the counter what was starting. She said "Flushed Away," which is a movie that I thought looked decent enough.
"Flushed Away" wound up being a cute, funny film with a lot of subtle and not-so-subtle humor-- truly a film for all ages. There were many points when the kids were laughing, but there were also points when the adults were laughing too. The French frogs were a particular favorite.
Then, when the film had ended, I prepared to leave. I went out into the crowded lobby, when I noticed a blinking light above the door to another theater. I was mesmerized, and before I knew it I was sitting in the other theater.
The blinking light made me do it, I swear.
But "Marie Antoinette" was a pretty decent film too. :D

I got arrested for sneaking in to a movie. The funny thing is they can't really charge you with much for the sneaking, so the manger pressed "contributing to the delinquency of miners" charges on the three of us that were 18 and older. The DA refused the charges. I can laugh at it now, but at the time it was not funny.

9. It's been a long time since I've done that. |
|
:D but I've definitely done it before...you are not alone.
We saw "Flushed Away" with the kids this w/e. It was OK. We also saw "Stranger Than Fiction" (LOVED it!) and "The Prestige" (very intriguing) this w/e, too.
Yes, we're big movie fans. :hi:
