...of walking out of my apartment building without my keys. I've done it twice now since Friday. I just wanted to get a cup of coffee, and wound up having to stand outside my building with a pathetic, non-threatening look on my face until someone came along to let me in.

I swear to God, I'm becoming more like my father every day. When he gets home from work, he *always* puts his stuff - wallet, keys, phone, etc. - in exactly the same spot. If he doesn't do this, in the morning he won't be able to find anything, and he will proceed to lose his ever-lovin' mind.

My keys were not next to my wallet when I went out for coffee just now, and so I forgot to grab them, because I'm a knucklehead.
