1. Yeah, But She's Still Crazy Smokin' Hot!!
A cool personal story about Denise Richards: She beat out my Ex-Girlfriend for the Starship Troopers role. It was down to a few finalists who all read for it, including my Ex, and obviously Richards got it.

4. I don't even know who she is
I've heard her name three or four times now, as though she's a celebrity. Who the heck is she, and why is she famous?

Also, why should I care? :)

22. She's one of the "Friends," I believe.
I can't answer the last part of your question.

26. Nope, she was not a "Friend"
Although she did a guest appearance on "Friends" but so did everyone else.

She played the vixen high school girl in a few movies from the late 90's (Starship Troopers, Wild Thing) and probably her biggest claim to fame was that she married & divorced Charlie Sheen. Then she help break-up her best friend Heather Locklear's marriage to Richie Sambora. Richards is now dating Sambora.

Plus just recently she tossed a laptop at a lil old lady in a wheelchair.

5. Lois Chiles in "Moonraker" came pretty damn close.
The operative word, in this case, being "girl". Ms. Chiles, while a fine actress, was a bit long in the tooth, Bond girlwise.

6. Standing next to the worst Bond
If I wanted Romulan Cloaking Devices, I'd watch Star Trek, thank you very much.

27. NO WAY!!! - Pierce was not only the best bond but the sexiest too
Only reason I went to see a Bond film was because Pierce Bronsan was in it. I'm doubting that I'll see it now that he's been replaced.

Edited on Mon Nov-13-06 05:09 PM by Frank Cannon
No way. Tanya "View To a Kill" Roberts makes Denise Richards look like Dame Judi Dench.

12. Agreed!
I thought I was the only Maryam fan...

I met her once, and she's still absolutely smokin' hot, even without her cello, and with pushing 50.

2002:

My mom went to school with Shirley Eaton (the girl who was painted Gold in Goldfinger). She's smokin' hot, too, but I can't imagine her being my mom's age!

14. Yep.
But I'm in the movie biz, so it's not all that surprising. And I do mostly-forgetable cable movies, so it's even less surprising.

17. Since everyone is Bond-crazy,
here's a Bond film review I came across. It's apparently written by a Mennonite from some rural community somewhere:

I went to see... the new James Bond picture... with a friend of mine, Cornelius. The movie was called... World Is Not Enough... and neither Henry nor myself... could figure out what that was supposed to mean. Henry, he said... what do you think that means. And yet I had no answer.

And we sat there to watch the film, and I have to say... the trick effects were very impressive. But the man who plays Bond... was not the sort of man who used to play him. He did not have the toughness... that a man needs to have to play this role. I did not... could not picture this man sitting down and eating a steak. No... no, nor even a fine veal cutlet. And Cornelius said to me... who does that man think he is. Cornelius, I do not know. It was in the older pictures that the man was bigger and he seemed to have... more toughness. And there were ladies... there were more ladies that wanted to go to bed with this man. And it was more graphically depicted in these pictures.

I do not want to say that the new picture... World Is Not Enough... is not a good film, but for me and Cornelius... It was not what we remembered from our days in the movie theatre... as younger men. Together we would go, and... what we would see there was more exciting... more ladies on view... more of the sort of villainry... There was the bald man with the cat, who is killed many times. But never enough. And that was when Cornelius... leaned over to me and said... Henry, he said... what was the name of that man. And I said... Cornelius... his name was Blofeld.

After the picture was over, we were driving back down Route 12... and we saw a Grainmaster. Cornelius said... what is that truck doing. And it was weaving... back and forth... across the road. And it was some Hutterites. And I said to the Hutterites... I said go back to your colony, you roadhogs. And Cornelius said to me... Good one, Henry.

25. She was horribly miscast as a Nuclear Physicist
Her prior three films before her turn as a Bond girl she played high school girls and now we were to believe she was PhD Nuclear Physicist. I loved Pierce Bronson as Bond and I noticed that none of his other girls were on the list (although I would think Teri Hatcher ranked pretty close to the Top 10 worst), but this was just a joke casting with Denise Richard. It's probably the one Bond movie I can barely stomach of the Bronsan series

both burst out laughing. . . then a silence washes over them.
