Went to Austin this weekend and attended the swearing-in ceremony this morning. It would have been more fun had I gone to a Texas law school and actually knew somebody, but it was still very nice. Finally getting my hands on my license and bar card was a very emotional experience. I also cried throughout the ceremony; I'm such a sentimental slob. It meant so much to me because I've wanted this since high school. Mr. DTBK was with me and recorded the whole thing, which I'm getting ready to watch again.

I cannot believe this day is here. Just a few short days ago I was still in law student limbo, waiting for results. Now I'm a fully licensed Texas attorney who can practice in "all Texas courts." I JUST CANNOT BELIEVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I was a medical transcriptionist (not even a doctor). Now she's started with the legal questions. She called the other day wanting to know if disorderly conduct was a felony or a misdemeanor. ARRRGGGGGHHHH!!!
