Need new music suggestions - no country music please. I love classic rock, grunge, alternative, prog rock but I can listen to just about anything! What band might I not have heard of that I should check out?

2. Hell, I want to borrow all your cd's and upload them to my player
Of course with a 20gig MP3 player you find that you have crap like "The Danger Zone" by Kenny Loggins somewhere in your collection

21. If you like Rush, try Victor or I Mother Earth
Victor was a solo project by Alex, a little harder and more rock sounding than Rush.

I Mother Earth is another Canadian band, whose singer worked with Alex on the Victor project. But great stuff.

There now that I've said that, I'll tell you what you should get.

"Enjoy Every Sandwich: The Songs of Warren Zevon"

It's a gem, recently discovered by me.

After he died, a bunch of wonderful singers put this CD together. I can't imagine anyone not liking it.

25. The Young Dubliners
"Come Back Home" was my first introduction to their music. I heard them on a local NPR affiliate that does Celtic music on Saturdays and they played this song by a bunch of Dubliners who met in L.A. and magic struck.
