DU was a haven.

DU was a community.

The Lounge was where you went to be silly and play with your on line pals. It wasn't a clique, and it wasn't mean. Hell, I remember when they CREATED the Lounge and we were suggesting what to call it! I sound like an old fart here, but I honestly can't figure out WHY people are so damn mean on here sometimes.

I find I have to walk away more often here. I go into the smaller forums and just stop reading some of the others for a while. I guess maybe one day I'll have to take a break from the Lounge too.

That is sad.

And I think it's pretty easy to figure out what this is based on, if you're at all familiar with some of the Lounge 'regulars'. But naming them or linking to their posts is against the rules.
