Tomorrow is my 25th anniversary. We will be going out to dinner and next week we are splurging and taking the kids with us on our first cruise as part of the celebration. We have been planning this for awhile. Basically the cruise is the gift but I have a feeling, knowing Mr. TNDemo, he will produce some jewelry or gift tomorrow, though I have told him I don't need anything. I feel like I need to have something for him but I am just clueless as to what would be appropriate for a 25 year gift. He wears no jewelry. I was going to get him a watch (have done that for anniversary before) and get it inscribed but he now doesn't wear one. He just uses his cell phone for telling time (and says it is a more discreet way to look at the time than staring at your watch when talking to people). So what else can I get him for an anniversary gift?

1. A really incredible set of cuff links would be appropriate |

if you are going to be attending the dining cabin on the cruise, since that is formal.

2. A gorgeous new key chain... |

I've only had three in my life, and remember each of them specially.

3. Okay - I figured it out. |

I had actually thought of the cuff links earlier but his office has started getting really casual and he rarely has to dress up. The cruise we are going on is also a casual one and there is one formal night but with the kids we are not dressing up that much. The keychain idea started me thinking also and I ultimately called my friend the jeweler and I am going to get a silver plate that will fit on his key ring and it says 25 on one side and "I would do it all again" on the other side. So thanks for helping me think this through.
