3. The Loch Ness Monster.

I don't believe it exists. But I wish it did. Someone even came up with a taxonomic classification for it, just as if it were real: Nesseterias rhombopteryx; "Ness creature with the diamond-shaped fin." And the goverment of Scotland has placed it into protected status, which I think is super-cool; they don't even know if it exists, but they're going to protect it.

It would just be amazing to know that there was a dinosaur-age pleisiosaur swimming around 65 million years after his kinfolk died out.
