It's 63 degrees. At 8:00 AM. On November 17th. |

In New Hampshire! I should be freezing my ass off by now. The birdbath and lawn chairs should have been brought inside three months ago. There should be hard ground. Instead, I'm sitting here on my sunporch with the windows open and I'm wearing a sleeveless shirt. 63 degrees is a perfect temperature for me, but it just isn't right. It feels like something's very wrong. People who used to rejoice in this kind of weather are now worrying about global warming. We can feel it now--literally. We're having our windows replaced and the people who are doing the work are friends of ours and they're real rednecks. They used to have so many flags on their trucks, I wondered how they could see out the windshield. Those are gone now. Yesterday, I asked one of them how they liked the weather. He just looked at me, shook his head and said "Too warm. Something's wrong". I just hope we're not waking up too late. How many of you out there are having unusually warm weather?

2. Not today here in North Georgia just northwest of Atlanta. |
|
The temperature at 6 a.m. this morning was 40 and it is expected to be a high of 57. That's about normal for this time of year. Last week, we had a few warm days in the high 60s and low 70s.
