1. I used to have that album!!
Great tunes!! Unfortunately I got rid of it a few years ago, after getting rid of my turntable. I suppose I could pick it up on cd now.

3. We had the Chicago songbook in my high school band
"25 or 6 to 4" was a great marching tune.

9. Let me finish it for you...
Waiting for the break of day
Searching for something to say
Flashing lights against the sky
Giving up I close my eyes
Sitting cross-legged on the floor
25 or 6 to 4

Staring blindly into space
Getting up to splash my face
Wanting just to stay awake
Wondering how much I can take
Should I try to do some more
25 or 6 to 4

Feeling like I ought to sleep
Spinning room is sinking deep
Searching for something to say
Waiting for the break of day
25 or 6 to 4
25 or 6 to 4

:hi:

11. When did they come out with that song?
I liked their earlier work. The later stuff was too main stream and without life.

12. 1969
Yeah I and II were the best then they went tumbling downhill for the next 20 or so productions. I saw them live in 76; very high tech show for that era.

6. When it comes to PS3
I am definitely Old School. Just give me Centipede on a gameboy and I'm set.

13. May I suggest some newer rock and roll to listen to?
Face The Promise by Bob Seger? Can I entice you? A little Wreck This Heart?

C'mon...I know a person who owned Live Bullet when I see one...

15. Don't tell
but I got that for my wife for Christmas (okay for me too). But its gonna be on that new fangled cd thing. She's a Kid Rock Fan as well. Its so great that some of the guys who provided music for you to grow up with are still producing the good stuff.

I do respect her BUT!

On edit - we have it in vinyl still too...CRATES of stuff

One day we will convert it..but we WANT the pop and crack when the opening chord of TNT by AC/DC ends and then the drums come up

17. Oh the pops and the cracks
make me long even more for the old stuff. Even when songs stopped halfway through so the 8-track could change tracks. Ya don't get shit like that with CD's.

14. *sigh* Terry Kath gave that band its balls
Loved those first three albums.

Politically unafraid + kickass musicianship. A rare combination.
