Well, crap. Can anyone suggest a good

"Tax Code for Dummies" website or something? I no longer work with an accountant for our taxes - but sometimes I sure miss the guy!

Our township sent out an email reminding people that for some income ranges they might want to put off paying their property taxes until '04, because of the impending changes in the Alternative Minimum Tax code. I have always paid as much before Dec 31 as I could, always figuring that a deduction THIS year is better than a deduction NEXT year!

Anyway, I really don't understand the AMT, and don't know what changes are in store, and have two days to figure it out!

Thanks for any suggestions as to where to get some information!
