2. I've had that done in the past...
Had to go back quite often.

And one day, he re-aligned it so much that for 18 months I had no idea what was happening... until the cool involuntary spasms occurred and I had to get surgery to remove a disc that was lodged directly in my spine... Ouch. Still, a freeper (or was it a loser from a dating site) said it was nothing...

3. Just do NOT let the chiropracter put you on that table with the rollers.

7. I like that thing
Didn't go on it tonight, though.

What's wrong with it?

9. I couldn't walk (really) for three days after being on that table. I'm glad it worked
better for you.

I'm not joking. Mrs R had to come pick me up and take me home, and the chiropractor was terrified that I might sue her. (Which I wasn't about to, because how could she know?)

Though she DID see the X-rays, and saw the grossly displaced vertebra.

No matter, though.

10. never ever ever let a chiro touch you without x-rays.
I let one adjust me without them once. She made things worse.I went to another chiro and he said she could have cut the sciatic nerve when she adjusted me.

12. I've been going to this guy for years
He's seen my naked spine. Hell, he looked at the X-rays and told me my pelvis isn't horizontal and one of my legs is like 1/2-inch longer than the other — which would partly explain why the pain's almost always on my right side. (I said left earlier; I meant my other left.)

11. Wow!
Can't imagine how the roller table could do that, but I guess any form of PT is potentially damaging.

I went to one for awhile who'd give me Ultrasound. That kinda scared me.

13. No, Ultrasound can't hurt you. Trust me one that. But if they go to the microwaves
for deeper heating (if they even do that anymore; Ihaven't had it since the 1970s), you might want to be concerned.

The ultrasound wavelengths are long enough that you have NOTHING to worry about.

14. I didn't think about the radiation
I was afraid of the heat. If she stopped paying attention for a few seconds, I'd have a permanent (and painful) hickey on my back.
