MORK AND MINDY vs. MY HERO: Discuss!
Here's a thought: While many American television favorites such as All in the Family, Three's Company, American Idol, and Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? were inspired by or copied from similar British television series, My Hero seems to have bucked the trend by copying from Mork and Mindy. The basic premise is the same: Alien comes to Earth, falls in love, gets married, and tries to raise a family without revealing his secret identity (and powers) to the rest of the world. The big change in My Hero is that George lives a double life as ThermoMan and performs feats of heroism (and sometimes extreme stupidity) all over the planet, while Mork is more or less content to stay in Colorado and send his weekly reports back to Ork's supreme commander.

Your thoughts?
