Somebody on DU posted a great YouTube cartoon parody of Star Wars - had the Emperor talking to some alien in a room and he was mocking Darth Vader... then Vader calls to tell him the Death Star was just blown up.

I'd look it up, but YouTube is blocked at my work.

DirecTV won't be by to install the HD receiver until the Saturday you are here. Right now, it is just getting the standard picture, without the widescreen. But it still looks good and the DVD's are great! :bounce:

17. I've been watchin' Mom's 52inch Sony for the last 4 days.... WITH...digital cable...

...an awesome package with movies on demand for HBO Showtime The Movie Channel and Cinamax...I'd rather it have the exclusive sports channels and this was late September LOL! :D Congratulations...they're SWEEEET!!!!!11 :applause:

P.S...and she won't be back until next Sunday so I can enjoy it a while longer...actually it makes me appreciate NOT having cable at home...I'd rather READ a book...the mush on all those channels is frightening...but there've been several movies I've enjoyed gettin' to see without havin' to rent 'em! :hi: Tell nini the same! :loveya:

Movies and sports. Classic films and Chargers football! Lakers basketball and Jack Nicholson! Documentaries and line drives!

It will be cool watching Keith Olbermann and Stephen Colbert too. There are plenty of ways to avoid the mush - plus I set up a den upstairs so I have a quiet reading area. :D
