For me, only 9, just immediate family. Realistically my total budget is 37 cents, but I know I'll probably end up spending about $200.

1. 9 for me, too...sort of
Son, two grandkids, DIL, and then...DIL's family--parents, 3 brothers and their families, and also one of my best friends here.

However, this year am only buying individual gifts for son, g-kids and DIL (and son's b-day 4 days after Xmas), and am only buying each DIL family one gift they can all use. Have alraedy bought those gifts and spent a total of $42. Dividing that by 4, spent average of $10.50 on each group. My budget goal for each of those groups was $20 or under, so did OK.

Will probably spend a total of about $300 on son, g-kids, DIL, and my friend. Am really trying to be frugal this year. Last year I spent about $1200 on everyone, and bought gifts for each of the DIL's brothers' kids. Have to be real and not go there again.

Am sending out holiday cards. Last year in cards sent out included holigraphic glasses that make it fun to look at Christmas lights. Was a big hit :)

2. More than you, on both counts.
:D
we've got about 35 people on our list. We exchange gifts with a lot of really good friends and family. Plus we like to give gifts to the kids' teachers, etc..Little things, but gifts nonetheless.

Not sure of our exact budget. Hopefully under $1000. :D

3. I've got 4 people
But one of them counts twice. My neice and nephew, my brother, and Dropkid (she counts 2x because her b-day is the 12th) Since I only get paid once a month, I count her tice (I don't want her to ever feel that she's gotten stuck in the combined occasion category). How much will I be able to spend towards gifts and b-day party? a grand total of about $200 if I budget REALLY well and let one of the bills slide this month.

Husband
Teenage Son
Daughter 1
Daughter 2
Dad
Dad's girlfriend
Brother
Brother's wife
niece
nephew
Mother-n-law
Father-n-law
Best Friend
Best Friend's three kids
Kid's teachers

My 13 year old wants an XBOX 360 and a new cell phone and that's just for starters. Of course we aren't getting the XBOX, too much money and he already has a playstation 2. I don't think I've ever asked anyone for a gift that costs as much as an XBOX. What are kids these days thinking? I was happy when I got twenty bucks at his age. Of course that was way back in the 80's. Anyone else have a teenager with huge demands?

9. I need to get out under $400.00
And hopefully closer to 300, but we'll see.

I have around 8 people to buy for, but one is my 5 year old nephew and I really like to go hog wild for him.

11. 5 people. Trying to keep it in the $200-$250 range with about half that on the kid.
Unfortunately, so far I only know what I'm getting the kid.

12. We have only 7 in our family.
I don't give presents to anyone else. No budget... I spend whatever and worry about it later.
