Woohoo, I survived hosting my first Thanksgiving |
|
When we lived in Minnesota, my mom always hosted it. So my husband and I hosted it this year (we had only three guests, but still...) I was really nervous, but it all came out very well.
:woohoo:

 Glad it went well for you.
We are ALWAYS the hub of family activity and everyone always gathers at our home for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. It's fun, we've gotten used to it. Last night we had 14 people around our table. Fortunately, I'm married to a man who is an excellent partner in entertaining. We're continually amazed at how well we work together when hosting huge groups of people. I'm a lucky woman. :D

Wednesday night, one of my husband's cousins came into town from the Sacramento area, and stayed through this morning. Then one of my cousin's and his wife came for dinner yesterday. It was really a good time.

My husband's cousin put himself to work with a lot of the clean up...which totally rocked.

7. Wow KW that is a milestone in life |

The first time you get to make Thanksgiving dinner on your own. I made a pumpkin pie Thanksgiving eve and the cat licked the center out of it the first time I tried it. I'm glad yours went well!
