Have you ever heard of the Plastics?
I was watching Dr. Keith Ablow today where he was having updates on some of his guests. Apparently there was this young man who is part of a MySpace group called "The Plastics" or just "Plastics" where they bully and put down people online. I was wondering if anyone here has ever heard of this clique-like group or others similar to it.

1. Sounds more like an indie rock band, haha.
Apparently it's from the movie Mean Girls.

3. I'm still disappointed that it wasn't an indie band though, haha.

7. Oh really?
I never heard of them. But then again I was too young to focus on the entertainment world.

8. I was only ever vaguely aware of them.
Saw a video or two on some late-night show. (we had no MTV
in the house then, so it wasn't there.)

Their sound kinda reminded me of the B-52's; that's
really all I remember.

9. I saw a band called that on SCTV back in the 80's.
Did a goofy song called "Everybody knows". Funny shit.

10. It was mentioned in "The Graduate"
"Plastics, Ben. Plastics."

Probably not the same thing you're talking about.
