2. Aww..he's cute. Reminds me of Stupid, the neighborhood cat
Edited on Fri Nov-24-06 11:04 PM by BlueStorm
where my sister lives. I haven't seen him for a period of three weeks and then just one day he shows at my sis's house, meowing to be let in. He was covered with some kind of grease, probably motor oil.

When I came over that night, he was very skinny and was losing his fur. He only would come to me other than that, he remained huddled up at the alcove in the living area. Just huddled up and not really interacting with anyone. My mom suddenly got ill and went home. The next day I went back to my mom's to check up on her and she disclosed to me that she felt like that something bad had happened to Stupid. That she recalled discussing to his owner about the large number of strays around the neighborhood and that the owner had said not to worry, that he was going to "fix him." Of course at the time, my mom didn't think of it, that he had meant he was going to take Stupid in to the vet. She said that when she was over at my sister's and seeing Stupid all huddled up in the alcove like he was, she had the impression that he was in pain and that the owner had constricted his testicles. She mentioned that the cat's testicles seemed small. She was clearly upset for days over this.

The cat disappeared again for a few days but the last time I saw him he was slowly gaining weight but his fur is still loose. His testicles do indeed look smaller and I am upset about it.

This happened a few months ago and I haven't seen the cat in a while but the next time I go over there I hope he will be there. That cat makes my heart sing and I was upset and worried when he was missing.

Unfortuanately I can't take him to the Humane Society as they probably will put him to sleep and I can't take him in as I live with my father right now and he is allergic to cats. Besides he won't let me take an animal in anyways.

I don't know why I just posted this, I guess it has been on my mind for a while.

6. Thanks for your input....
I am not sure about being in the writers' forum though. I almost never share my stories, lol.
