12. Wait until you're acclimated
Eventually, you will be joining the chorus of cold!

It takes a few years, but it WILL happen.

4. Geez, 45 Degrees Cold?
I remember as a kid (in Utah where I lived then) playing basketball outside in shirt sleeves with the sun shining and it being 12 below zero.

Your hands would get cold, and the ball didn't bounce right, but it wasn't that bad really.

38. That's because when it gets that cold, you don't feel the damp
I went camping last year in February and it was below 30 most of the time we were there. And we were fine. But when it crept above about 36, it felt colder because you could feel the moisture in the air.

That's why fog is colder than snow.

Everything east of Kollyfornia, Oregon and Washington is The East.

'N' besides — everybody knows when it gets to 60 in Canadia there's a run on air conditioners.

23. I agree 100%.
When I moved here earlier ths year, it was on the express understanding that the temperature would never dip below 70. The current weather is therefore tantamount to fraud.

Now, if I could just figure out who to sue...

But be warned: The conspiracy is wide-ranging.

Have you heard of the Magic Thermometer Theory?

But if there were one, it'd be a product of the Kollyforniya Chamber of Commerce, aka the Whorin' Commission.

31. Youch. My sympathies.
It's like that here in Florida, too. Once things go below 50 (which they haven't really yet, except for a few nights), it's cold.
