Do any DUers realize how much fun you can have

with three cats and a laser level? Just sittin here waiting for KO to come on watching the kitties chase the little red dot up the wall, over the sofa and down the hall.

1. I used to do that with a laser pointer...

They will try and try to catch that dot.

2. One of my cats will chase it, the other's too smart.

He knows it's nothing and will look at me as if to say "do you expect me to fall for that?" then watch the other one run around. Funny.

That damned dot WILL. NOT. DIE.

Two kitties are fools for it. The other two...meh...and i just realized that it's the older ones who climb the walls to get at the dot. The ones still in single digits are content to watch, and to take the occasional swat at the older cats.

4. Oh yeah.

My little male kitty is an absolute fool for the laser pen. He's learned where I hang it (on an end table) and will rattle the thing until I pick it up and play with him. Then my little female joins in. Best cat toy ever.

5. Two of our cats go wild with the "red dot"

One of them if we do it too long will almost hyperventilate. The third cat has no interest whatsoever in the dot.
