Slippers do keep you feet warm. I wish I could find the other one...my right foot is toasty, the left one, not so much.

has a shoe fetish. Really. Well actually he will pick up anything off the floor and bring it into his crate to lay with. But shoes especially. If anything is missing, first thing is "check Ben's crate."

Just like you, it's not an option right now, however.
How about sitting with your left foot tucked up underneath you? That should warm it up. Cats and dogs are great footwarmers, too.
