Mostly I am alerting on posts, and that very rarely, more than I am on posters.

I would rather engage in debate with a troll or insulter or obnoxious person than alert on them.

I wonder if we allowed people to register as Greens, Democrats, Independents, or Republicans if the trolls would be honest or still try to pretend to be what they are not?

4. Very few actually. I'm pretty liberal about what people post, so it takes something

pretty obnoxious for me to alert on someone. The point wasn't so much about the fact that I alerted as it was about the fact that I actually saw one of the mysterious threads that caused someone to be tombstoned, which is pretty rare for me.
