Du'ers in relationships in which you dont live with your partners...
Edited on Wed Nov-29-06 01:44 PM by lionesspriyanka
how much time do you spend with them? 2-3 nights a week? 6 nights? you dont stay over...

what is your usual frequency of seeing your partner?

if you are doing the long distance thing: how often do you see your SO?

1. 3-4 days a week
It depends. She has to go out after work for work a lot. Those days I just go to the corner bar with my buddies and goof off. I don't want to hang around her house without her there.

2. My boyfriend and I
see each other maybe twice during the week and usually spend the weekends together, until about Sunday afternoon. I have 2 boys that are with their dad every other weekend so that's nice "grown-up" time. We will be moving to Orlando together in February, then I guess we'll be together every day :-)

6. 1 to 3 nights per week.
She is in Portland and I live in Eugene. About 120 miles. I don't drive, so I take the bus about one time per week to visit. I do pay part of the rent for our shithole in Portland. I have two places of residence.

7. Weekends only for the most part
My boyfriend lives 50 miles and 1 1/2 hours away from me. So one of us usually comes over to the other's house on Friday night and stays until Sunday. Once in a while I might go over there during the week and spend the night, then drive in to work the next day (which totally sucks, by the way). I'm thinking of getting a job in Denver and moving closer to him, so I can see him more often.

8. We technically weren't living together ....
(old relationship) but being together 6 nights a week really qualifies.

it does leave each a respite if it is necessary, having separate places.

9. about 2 weeks a year.
Sad.

But, that's the way it is, and how it will be probably for a couple more years.

14. Hopefully I end up in Japan!
If not there, then second choice is back to Hawaii, third choice back to NYC.

10. Unfortunately, only twice a week.
He's a chef, who works over 50 hours a week, including all weekends. I only get to see him on his two days off, weekdays of course. Once I finally get a job, it will be even more difficult.

15. with my ex and I it was around 2 or 3 nights a week
sometimes more...we lived about 5 miles from each other and never really lived together the whole time we dated, about 3 and a half years. It was hard on our pets, though, and I regret that part, but we couldn't live together because one of the things I have to have is a substance free house and she couldn't/wouldn't ever make that sacrifice.

I haven't lived with a lover in ten years. At this point I don't know if I could.
