Anyone else had this kind of cell phone experience??

I dialed friend #1's number. It rang and a rude woman answered. I asked her if this was friend's phone and she said no. I looked at the number I had hand-dialed and it was the correct one. I called it the second time and this time it connected to the right phone.

An hour later I dialed friend #2's phone. It rang and a machine picked up with some guy's voice saying to leave a message. I found that odd and checked the number I had dialed and once again it was the correct number. I dialed the number again and this time it connected me to the correct answering machine. A little bit ago friend #2 calls. She says she was on her cell phone at the time her house phone rang (what I had called) and she picked up the house phone to tell me she would call me back (saw my cell phone number on the ID) when this guy says "I guess I have called the wrong number." Now how did my cell phone number show up on her phone and when she answers it, it is some guy with a wrong number? And was this the guy whose voice mail I got??

1. i had the strangest cell phone issue a while back...

someone was sending blast faxes for a mortgage company out with an 800 number on it. when really pissed off people called the 800 number to tell them to stop faxing, it rang to my cell phone. cingular had no idea how it was happening.
