I was inspired by the peace wreath, so I constructed a 5 foot lighted |
|
peace wreath for our house today. pictures will be forthcoming as soon as it is up & my 11 yo daughter shows me how to post photos. Don't wait up, I'm talking DAYS. It is in my dining room, blinking on the floor. Kind of like me.
For those who suffered my former posting, I cannot, in all good conscience, declare you mistaken. especially sniffa.

3. Yeah, it is rather pitiful. But thanks for saying it is neat. |

I have had a shitty year. No excuse, just facts. But my experiences have not been as bad as some others here. So maybe I am guilty of poor me rude syndrome. Not an excuse to be an asshole tho...Can I donate a hug? I'm not an activist unless inspired. People like Cindy Sheehan inspire me.

4. Hey, I Think That If You Put That Much Into It |
|
I have got no right to laugh at it really!
I'm sorry you've had a shitty year
I'm having one myself
Is anyone an activist without being inspired?
I'm kind of inspired that someone would be inspired enough to make a peace wreath 5 feet tall really.
I haven't made any peace wreath at all.

6. I will share a pic when it's up. Inspire On! |

You know, I think you are absolutely correct about activism, until it affects one personally, it's not a priority. This is speaking for myself.

is 12 years old. We constructed it from old rubber tubing, a ton of white faerie lights, and lots of electrical tape. It is about 3' x 3'. It has seasonally adorned our tall chimney as sort of a communal rural greeting (we live way out in the country) and I can't imagine a better wish. Wouldn't it be great if this whole new style of greeting catches on nation wide?
