8. Animal Rescue Of New Orleans?

that's pretty cool, are you involved in that?

It is so sad to think of all the animals that were abandoned, and it's wonderful that there are people who were able to be involved in rescuing animals from Katrina.

A lot of people would minimize that, but I think it is truly a blessing that animals are being helped.

11. ARNO is great.

they have a great video on youtube, I think it's called "I'm with you" where they are rescuing animals still. I just read of one reunion today on eric's dog blog ( http://www.ericsdogblog.blogspot.com ) that has just happened, of an elderly man and his dog after a year apart. The reunions are still happening...it's a miracle, but that whole tragedy just broke my heart, literally.

Yeah, I think in all the rescues rescued 15,000k animals and about 200,000 pets perished, of course that doesn't include strays on the streets of which there were tens of thousands I'm sure. I don't think I will ever get over it as long as I live...I will never be the same after watching everything that happened. A soul is a soul to me, no matter the species.

ARNO recently updated their website and they are still going strong, still reuniting people with their pets this much later.
