A Question for the 'Rents |
|
Do you have those stickers on your car that have your kid's name and what sport/activity they are in?
I don't like 'em, but I can pretty much guarantee that if my kids want me to put one on the car for whatever they do, I'll do it.
I'm a sell-out.

1. No, although I do have a Lacrosse sticker on my car... |
|
But it is a magnetic one and I take it off when lacrosse season is over. My kids made me promise that if they ever got one of the "proud parent of an honor roll student" stickers, that I woudl put it on my car. Luckily, they've never been at a school that hands out those stickers to honor roll kids.

3. Not at the present time - |
|
although my kidlet is in gymnastics so I guess I could. If she ever wants me to, I'd probably do it, but since she is too young to read and doesn't understand the concept, I've got a few years left before I have to make that choice.

4. I've gotten the stickers |
|
They don't get put on my car though. Pedophiles don't need to know what school my kids go to, or what teams they are on, or what instruments they play. Sure, they could find out if they really wanted to, but I'm not advertising it and making their job easier.

I wouldn't put the name of my children on my car. Doesn't really seem like a wise thing to do.

because you're a loser. :P
i wouldn't put my son's name on the car but i wouldn't have problem with stickers announcing his activities, although in all honesty, i can't imagine him ever wanting me to.

9. "I am the proud parent |

of a student whose self-esteem is sufficient that he doesn't need me promoting his minor scholastic achievements on the back of my car."

That being said, I sell those window stickers to my choir parents. They only say Choir Supporter, and has our Logo on it.

I'll get the bumper stickers and put them on my fridge, but not on my car. My kids don't ask me to, though. I've never put ANY kind of bumper sticker on my car. Not even when they've made honor roll or Student of the Month.
I'm weird that way, though.

12. My kid is only 3 BUT... |
|
I don't see myself doing it. Any time I see those stickers, the first thing I think is, "Well, good for him/her but I don't know you and I don't give a shit."

14. There is NO pedophile bait on my car. |
|
Why the hell does anybody want to tell strangers where their rugrats go to school, what sport you can ask them about to get them to open up and what the family dog's name is? Nobody stuck behind me in traffic gives a shit, and if they do than I really don't want them knowing that information!
