Last class!

I just finished teaching my last class this semester!

I gotta say, aside from some co-worker issues (ok, more than *some*), this was actually a rewarding experience.

Some of my classes actually clapped (though that may have been because they were done) and many students stayed after to thank me. Almost makes the annoying parts worth it.

Oooh...and...ALL of my students passed! ALL of them!

Some of them had to be pulled into the Land of Passing, kicking and screaming, but they did it!



Bring me the finest muffins and bagels in all the land. I'm done!

Actually, I would never ask a guy (or a girl for that matter) to miss a football game. Particularly one this time of year. Hell, I have a game this Saturday that I refuse to miss as well.

As for the relaxation...maybe in January? :shrug:

I thought you meant there was a new, even lower "class" of air travel, perhaps in cargo (bring your own parka). I always expect fresh hell from the airlines.

Seriously, as a former teacher, I say CONGRATS! It is quite the milestone! Definitely go out and celebrate with as many carbs (solid, liquid) as you wish!

And I wouldn't take it personally at all. They're about a week away from finals. Finishing up a class (complete with passing grades) is certainly cause for cheering...which really has nothing to do with me.

Thank you though. I do like to think that I did a better-than-ok job. ;)
