Dammit, I miss catchphrases!
Don't have a cow, man!
Dyn-o-mite!
Missed it by that much!
Stifle, you dingbat!
Would you believe...
Here comes the Judge!
Back in St Olaf...
At the shoe store today...
Sock it to me!
He's dead, Jim!

Feel free to add more!!

1. My favorite, for some reason ...
... "very interesting, but stupid."

(not a reflection on your post, HT) :hi:

2. "Bear! Open the window!"
That was BJ's catchphrase from 'BJ and The Bear.'

3. " I do and I do and I do for you kids..."
"...and this is the thanks I get!" That's from an ancient Letterman thing where they were trying to create the next big catchphrase. This is to be delivered with an old man's thick NY accent."

Not really something they repeated a lot on Seinfeld, but there's a great zen quality to screaming "Serenity NOW!"

4. Then there are the career-killing ones like...
Edited on Thu Nov-30-06 08:29 PM by Kutjara
"Wha'choo talkin' 'bout, Willis?" that Gary Coleman still can't live down; and "I pity the fool..." that Mr. T must have regretted for years until it became the name of his new reality TV show.

"Jane, you ignorant slut"

An early prelude to what was coming down the pike cloaked as "debate" between liberals and conservatives.

But at least in those skits he let her make her points, rather than shouting over her, which seems to be the norm nowadays. barf...

( I don't like the vomiting smiley ) :)

6. You need a couple of kids and then you'll discover all the new
ones of the day. "Ah feel that you're feeling a feeling" is Dr. Phil, according to my seven year old son.

8. I always thought an SNL Catchphrase Guy would be a great SNL character
He could annoy his friends and coworkers with increasingly obscure quotes from the show.
