Expiration dates on prescription pill bottles
You've heard they're fake and you can use pills YEARS after they expired, right?

So when I looked through my pantry, I came across a tin of Cream of Chicken soup. Exp date is 07/2004

Should I use it?

1. Is that true?
I mean that prescription pill expirations dates are fake? Because that could totally be used to my advantage...or disadvantage depending on how you looked at it.

2. Is The Can Bulging At The Seams?
if not I'd probably eat it, just boil it good.

7. There was a US Army study that said
that some prescription drugs are good up to 96 months past the expiration date, but the pharmaceutical companies disagree. I have a friend who has done some missionary nursing work in Africa and they often use drugs that in the Western world are "Expired." As far as the soup, I wouldn't use it, but that is just me.

8. Throw it away.
It probably tastes more like the can at this point.

10. Some meds do go stale.
They may still work, but the aren't as strong. You no longer have any control over the actual dosage if they're too old.
