Of course it's okay, provided all parties consent. A guy who does so repeatedly and willingly is either gay or bi, whether he chooses to identify that way or not. A guy who has sex with a man (or several) and decides it's not for him may very well be straight, or only a little bit bi (these things are a sliding scale, not absolutes.)

-LM, who figures her A in Human Sexuality gives her ample qualifications to answer the question even though she's a straight woman.
