They just admitted my wife to the hospital! |
|
At the OB's office her BP spiked and would not come down. It is supposed to be for 24 hours of observation. But you never know at 36 weeks.

Better that they have her somewhere where they can keep an eye on her and monitor her. Odds are, she'll be back home by morning but, even if she's not and she delivers, at 36 weeks everything should be okay.
Hang in there.

The baby is perfectly capable of living outside the womb at this point, and since she's being monitored, if her BP gets too high or anyone is endangered, they can get the baby out with her and the baby safe and healthy in 20 seconds. That's right, 20 seconds. Deep breaths, you're about to be a daddy! :loveya:

But while she's in the hospital she's going to get good care and be fine. My sister just delivered twins at 34 weeks, a C-section like your wife plans, and both mother and teeny-tiny babies are fine.
Make sure you stay by her side as much as possible! She needs you.
