Whats your storm damage?
I got a tree limb in my front window. My home is now sporting a fine looking cardboard cover accented with duct tape. On the bright side I kept power and over half my community is with out, so I am pretty happy, rather a tree limb in the window than no power.

2. So far, a few downed limbs.
But we just started getting this an hour or so ago, so we might have more damage before it's over. There are trash cans rolling around in the streets, it's thundering outside, and the wind is insane.

It was 70 degrees here this morning. It's supposed to be 32 degrees by tonight.

3. I talked to NSMA last night....
she's in California.

They were having 70-80 MPH winds there. She said that a tree fell right beside her. :scared:

I'm in Mississippi--we only had gusts up to abouat 30 last night...so no damage here.

Are y'all having a winter storm in Missouri?

4. Western Illinois
About 8" of snow over ice. Thankfully the power stayed on all night.

Temp is 21 with high winds and drifting.

Digging out what the snowplow left in my driveway.

5. It's moving through here now
We had heavy rain overnight. About 1/2 acre of my property is underwater, including most of the pasture. We're currently recording 50mph wind gusts and the temperatures are falling. It's better than what y'all are dealing with further west of here.

I have many large, old trees around my house. With the ground saturated, I'm hoping none of them come down. Also, if my power fails, the sump pump won't work. A flooded basement is not my idea of a good time.

Be careful out there everyone.
