And winter should indeed be all sub-zero days... BUT OVERCAST.
NO SUN.
We get enough in the summer. We don't need it year-round.
Fog. Snow. Sleet. Ice. Generally dark, overcast days with no precipitation. These are appropriate winter events.
The sun shoudl disappear in early October and not come out again until mid-April.
