The USB ports on my laptop have died out
I know the best solution is to either replace the board that the ports sit on or have a technician do it for me, but until that happens, is there a way to convert another port into a USB port or something?

1. You might try posting on the Computer Support group if you haven't
already.

3. What are you plugging in?
If an I/O device (keyboard, mouse), there are USB / PS2 conversion devices (as long as you have a PS2 port).

Could also look into docking stations for your particular laptop (if you use it at a desk).
