108. I cried during "Kindergarten Cop" of all things!
The REM video "Everybody Hurts" used to make me cry too! Weirder than that is that "40-Year-Old Virgin" made me teary-eyed when I saw it a few months ago, but that was because the relationship in the movie seemed so loving and healthy compared to the one I was in at the time.

111. You have to believe we are magic
nothin' can stand in our way--
you have to believe we are magic,
don't let your aim ever stray.

And if all your hopes survive, destiny, will arrive,
I'll bring all your dreams alive,
for you.

From memory, Xanadu soundtrack. I had the cassette tape--one of the first I ever played, on my little dual-deck boom box. Damn, I was so huge on Olivia Newton John when I was a kid (that started with "Grease" second movie I saw in a theater--first was "Star Wars" and yes, I had that soundtrack on vinyl), but the curious thing was that the movie, becaue of the Terpsichore/muses/Olympus connection, actually got me hooked on mythology, so, it *was* educational. Unfortunately, I wanted to be a muse when I grew up--not so many positions open for that :).

And it had Gene Kelly in it. And he was in *good* movies like "inherit the Wind" and "On the Town" and "Singin' in the Rain" and so forth.

I recall the movie being on HBO at least as much as Beastmaster (mmm, Marc Singer, pre-V, with fur loincloth and weasels..I mean ferrets. The 1980's was a beautiful time to be alive. Speaking of which:

"V: The Second Generation" (2007) (mini) TV Series (in production) .... Mike Donovan
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001743/ yay for me.)

My personal secret--being a little bit of a geek. SF and other genre addiction, Highlander fanfic writer. And closet wanna-be Olivia Newton John. When I'm not being Cher.

For some reason, when I was younger, it was always Paul that I thought was the mainstay. Then after they split up, George's solo stuff really turned me on. Someone recently gave me a tape of the Concert for Bangladesh, I must check that out soon.

But today I am appreciating John as the real soul of the group.O8)

And yes, I do have some Wings stuff somewhere.... it is pretty good, entertaining music.

haven of the collection maven, that is. What's really cool is the stuff from across the pond. Check out the Royal Doulton line of teapots and etc.-exquisite stuff!
Oh, and I have this really cool teaset in black and ecru; it's a tray with 3 mugs and the teapot. Classic Pooh Hundred Acre Wood. I'll take a photo when I can.
Ebay hunting tip: when you've exhausted the search using the words "classic pooh"; always check under the regular pooh stuff-some people don't realize there's a difference when they list their things. It's usually cheaper too, 'cause they don't realize the collectible value.
Oh, I'm such a loser.

119. I pretty much HAVE to.
It's the only thing that keeps my skin at a low breakout level. My skin responds to it.
I used to work at a tanning salon, and I'm trying to get the capital up to open one up here where I see a great opportunity.
On the plus side, they are great for that seasonal light disorder that many people have, and it increases your Vitamin D.
As you know, just find a good quality lotion and figure out what your best exposure schedule is, and you're usually ok. I have to go about 2 times every 7 days.

I won't deny the vanity aspect, but I'm amazed at the other benefits I've gotten! And I'm somewhat affected by SAD--one cloudy day makes me one cranky BAL!

My favorite lotion is $60 dollars a bottle but it's done wonders for my skin.

Even out here in AZ they are very popular since many swim and play sports year-round. Good luck on your venture!

I was raised in rural PA and my mother refused to run the AC after we'd go to bed. So I either had to sleep with all the windows closed or deal with the smell of skunks.

Since I've moved to Delaware I haven't smelled that scent in ages

106. Well, I hate Englebert, Tom Jones, Ray Coniff and the Carpenters...
...my confession is a lot worse, and I expect total flaming for it:

No matter how I try, no matter what I know about her and That Family, I DON'T HATE LAURA BUSH. I feel really sorry for her, and I'm afraid she's punishing herself for killing her ex-boyfriend by staying with Chimpy--not to mention that fetid bitch of a mother-in-law.

Can't imagine how harrowing those family holidays in Kennebunkport must be for her. I'd be tranq-ed to the gills as well!

116. I have to agree
I don't hate her, either. I hate her mother-in-law, and I didn't much care for Nancy Reagan (although I'm glad she's speaking out on stem cell research) Laura just seems so inocuous...she's very hard to hate. I guess that the words to use to describe how I feel about her is disrespect and pity.

I'm sure that she's very co-dependent...spending all these years with the chimp.

And can you imagine having Babs as your monster-in-law? UGH!!!!

109. I'm in my mid-thirties and still live at home!
It is mainly due to economic reasons. I plan on changing that this year now that I have a degree.

My last two ex's were Republicans

I am addicted to broken rubber bands

I have continued the family tradition of lovingly calling cats "dawgs" as I pet them.

I listen to mostly rock and metal, but I did purchase and download songs by the Dixie Chicks and the Scissor Sisters.

Yes, I know I'm weird! In fact, I declare myself the weirdest DUer of all time!!
