I am being prompted to install IE 7.0 on my computer. Should I or shouldn't I.
And for those of you "Get a mac" or "Switch to Linux" people...I really do not wish to be snarked at about using Windoze.

1. Give it a try. You always have the option of "rolling back" the change... |
|
...I prefer Linux, but use Windows at work, and I have to say, IE7 has some pretty cool functionality.

19. I Upgraded to Firefox 2.0 |
|
Edited on Fri Dec-01-06 08:35 PM by Mrs. Venation
And some weird stuff started happening, like when I first launch the browser or start a new tab I get a box that says "The URL is not valid and cannot be loaded." :wtf: My home page is www.google.com, so I know that's a valid URL. I cannot find any support for this undocumented feature, and it's driving me batshit because I typically open several tabs while I'm browsing.
I've switched to IE 7 from Firefox 2.0 At this point I think IE is the better and more stable product.

I figured out what it is. In Minnesota (where I never blew a tire on a curb, incidentally) the curbs are curved, so even if they are high, there is not an edge to catch between your rim and your tire. Here all the curbs are very square, so I keep hitting the edge so it breaks the seal on the rim of the tire, and poof, it deflates.

I wouldn't and haven't updated my IE yet. I do use it from time to time when I have to, but other than that, I turned the update feature off completely.
How have you been doing lately? I hear you moved out to Callyforny.

I like IE 7. I have had a long-time preference to use any other browser, and I've been using Firefox. I upgraded to Firefox 2.0 and some weird stuff started happening.
I have changed my preferred browser to IE 7.0 It has a lot of the features I like(d) about Mozilla and Firefox, such as tabbed browsing, and I like the new phishing filter (but be warned that the phishing filter does slow down page loads).
Overall I think IE 7 is worth installing.
