kitties!
i finally have pictures of my other kitties and i just can't keep them to myself

this is mia, she's one of two kitties i'm watching while their momma studies in germany

this is mira, the other kitty i'm watching. she always looks so goofy

now on to my brood. these are my kitties who stay with my dad

this is sweetie, i raised her from the time she was about six months old

here's perfect pearl, one of five from the only litter sweetie had. pearl is our thousand dollar kitty, we spent a lot of money on her when she got in a fight with the tire of a moving car

and here's vega, one of pearl's littermates. she was the runt and has shallow hip sockets, so she doesn't move as well as the others. but somehow she has grown into the biggest cat we have (15 pounds, bigger than our big male) and she's got the most expressive face i've ever seen on a cat

yes, i love my girls

1. Oooo....what pretty angels!
Kitties are the best. Even though my newest siamese De De kept me up half the night cause I forgot to fill the fat thing's food bowl, she's still a sweetheart.

Yep....you gotta love em.

2. i've never had a female siamese
i've always heard they were too high strung, is that the case with yours? we've had two seal point males and they were the sweetest boys ever.

4. Oh....not at all. De De is so mellow it's unbelievable.
She is demanding as hell, but very laid back.

Mariko, who died a couple of years ago at the age of 18, was pretty mellow for the most part. She was kind of funny though. She could meow louder than anything you ever heard and she loved nothing more than to be in a room with good acoustics and just let loose. But she slept in the crook of my arm every night for most of her life and I still miss her.

Mischief is my only male siamese. I sprung him from kitty jail a couple of years ago. He was a little aloof at first, but now he follows me around like a puppy. He treats my boyfriend (who I have had for 16 years) like he owns him. If bf is laying on the couch, he'll lay on top of him, but then if the cat is standing in the living room and bf walks by, he hisses and does a warning scratch at him. (I didn't believe bf for the first few months when he told me until I saw it myself....I laughed my ass off) You'd think since bf cleans his catbox and keeps the food and water full, he'd be a little more appreciative.

I love kitties.

6. Aw, sure they are.

Thanks for the compliment, tho. Aren't kitties the bestest? Henri is such a character, he really keeps us entertained. I'll bet your kitties are great fun too. We should really get them all together for a kittie tea party someday.

:hi:
