Need recs for a GOOD sports bra
The ones I have now do the job but feel like bulletproof casing and/or duct tape. :P I mean, they do they anti-bounce job, but damn, they feel way too constricting. I'm wearing the correct size, but there's got to be a better sports bra out there.

Also, if you have any recs for "natural" shaped sports bras (as opposed to the kind that just flatten), I would greatly appreciate it. :hi:

Thank you! :bounce: :bounce:

1. FYI
Dr. Calvin Rickson, a Professor of Sports Medicine at Texas A&M University has
invented a bra that keeps women's breasts from jiggling and bouncing, and
prevents the nipples from pushing through the fabric when cold weather sets in.

At a recent news conference, after announcing the invention, a large group of
men took Dr. Rickson outside and beat the crap out of him.

4. Again, I wish they made adult underoos.
I used to wear those when I first started developing my ample family heritage. Yes, humoungous tatas run in my family. Mine have since been reduced, although not nearly enough.

5. Shop at Title 9
Edited on Fri Dec-01-06 11:14 PM by Dora
They rank their sports bras by barbells, and give good descriptions as to how they fit (flatten vs separate). I think they have a wide selection.

Title 9 has the most amazing selection. I would wear the "3 reasons support bra" every single day of the week if I could afford more than one!

21. Try here:
http://cw-x.com/ss/products

A lot of folks in my field (dance) are trying this company's garments, and liking them. Dunno specifically about the bras, but I think that the designers for CW-X are laudable for their anatomy/physiology integration. And the pieces are good looking on top of that.

Good luck! :hi:

22. I own a chain of ladies' fitness centers and personally recommend the Shock Absorber
by Nike.

They MUST be solid, but comfort is also critical. The shock absorbers have several different styles and it's worth trying them all on to find the one best suited to your body type.

I won't wear any other brand and I'm a 34DD.

I salute your recognition of the fact that "could be"

it could have been somewhere else? How would I have really known?

I liked Flock of Seagulls- did you like them? New wave was fun - I remember going to this new wave bar in Oklahoma City called "The Bowery" and (shame shame) don't really remember leaving or anything until the cop pulled me over and then told me to "slow down"- good gawd that bar was a lot of fun, and always a place to lose memory over!

Yep, Flock of Seagulls put out some good songs. :) I loved all that great music from that time! There was a great club in Chapel Hill (it's still there!) called Cat's Cradle, and my friends and I hung out there. Saw lots of great groups on campus and at Duke University, and we occasionally went to shows in other areas.

Ah....those were the days.... :woohoo:

They play tricks on me at the fitness center I go to, they play 80's music all the time and I guess it penetrates into my psyche and I start feeling like I'm in my 20's again! Then later, I realize of course that I've been tricked again!
